Hihi! This is my page devoted to the obscure sports that
I love.
I've shown I'm different in many ways with my various talents, and now
you can see that I'm different by the sports I love. Here we go...
#1: Lawn Bowling!
During the summer months, I
live in Pittsburgh, and my home away from home in Pittsburgh is the lawn
bowling greens in Frick Park. I am a proud member of the Frick
Park Lawn Bowling Club. This is a really neat game similar to bocce,
or boules, or petanque, but when you roll the bowls, they curve instead
of going straight.
#2: Hashing!
During my freshman year at college,
I was introduced to this great sport called Hashing. The president
of my college brought it to us, and now I love to be a part of this "Drinking
Club with a Running Problem." You can find a little bit of information on
the Claremont Hash House Harriers here.
#3: Croquet!
Mmm ... Croquet! Although it's not too obscure, it's still a sport that's
exciting, and not widely played. This game is most exciting when
played with good friends, with some Offspring in the background.
Oh, how I love it so!
